HDB informed seller that the door must be changed to fire rated door before completion due to the distance to the lift lobby, what a bummer! I thought as long as I change during reno will do.
Now seller asking us if they prefer if they reimburse us or choose their own door and change themselves.
I opted for the former since I wanted to change gate + door anyway, and alr had quotes. But changing door before reno...
Means that we have to be super careful with it. My ID prefers if flooring is done first before the change but since he was prepared for if I wanted to keep the old door, he said he will take extra care to protect the new door.
Was worried that less than 2 weeks not enough to fabricate and install.. but turns out as long as we confirm by this weekend, it is doable.
But wah this kinda last min stuff I cannot 😂😂😂 since the key not collected, the seller agent has to he around when the door is being changed also. 😂
Wow. Now all I have to do is sign letter of undertaking to agree to changing the door after the completion appt (sthg I was alr gna do) and now, seller willing to subsidise half!
