Hahaha it's like nothing in my life is as interesting as trying to find a house
So we went for second viewing of this house we potentially thought could be the one.. but then we realised that the kitchen ceiling was painted a different colour? Like there is a patch of random grey. Which calls for further examination right?? Cos it's like as good as saying hello look here I'm hiding something

This is what the ceiling looked like.. notice two subtle different shades in colour??

Then my dad saw those two patches that seem to be bulging out and he went over and knocked the ceiling and we realised that it's HOLLOW đ¨
The agent was still going on about how older flats have uneven ceiling etc etc and how there isn't any false ceiling installed (when my dad started knocking the middle part).. but the moment my dad knocked that hollow bit out the agent shut up. Like he probably as stun as we were đ¤Ł

Went to Google hollow sounding ceiling cos we left the place feeling damn perplexed and it might be water structural problems? But the think that my dad also mentioned is that once there is a water leak, it will always find the weakest point.. so not say like I fix this bit it will not happen somewhere else againđ¨đ¨
So anyway one thing I learnt yesterday... Knock the ceilings/pipes in the kitchen/toilet to see if there are issues
You want a solid sound for ceilings, and a hollow sound for pipes haha
So we have also decided to finally get a buyer's agent. Cos we suck at negotiate deals and with offering prices:( I guess it's good to have someone to do the liaising and nego for us cos it gives us so much stress when agents try and play our minds cos we just lap up all their tricks.
Managed to get an agent contact from our MPC course instructor and we also got another good contact as well. Now is how to go about having a few agents without feeling like we not sincere to our agents or like later they Sian cos they not exclusive to us :(
Scared later if an agent asks us if we are exclusive and I tell her no she will feel offended :( but technically this is what they face all the time in their jobs right, so maybe I'm just thinking too much and feeling bad for nothing haha
