Thought I’ll continue updating in case I get lazy again 😂
So this is our wet kitchen! Still waiting for carpentry and glass! #rayxinbox We did a 90 degree drop for our front door instead of slope! Wanted to do slope initially but ID said tt the entrance tiles will be dirty when the workers clean the common corridor in front of my house next time! Anw it isn’t the kerb isn’t too high, so it’s okay~ Not sure if I showed this! That’s the vinyl for our BRs! :) should be laying this week! Will be going over to take a look this evening! The painter’s helmet heh.
Anyway that’s our dry kitchen! :) and the DB box doors have been removed! We are building a shoe cabinet there :) it will protrude out abit into the space there (not flushed against wall).. hope it will turn out well.... hmm Our water based sealant that makes the house smelly lol.. hope this works.. topped up for these so that we can reduce the peeling of paint when we paste stuff on the wall next time~ Measuring for our common toilet’s shampoo rack~ getting from Taobao! Our Line8 arrived on Friday lunch time too! We waited 45 min for the guy tho. He is always late omg. We need go back work one leh. I hope this is the last time we have to deal w this vendor.
Anyway 1.5m of black and 0.5m of white marble for dry pantry! Also asked ID to bring the laminate for the kitchen feature wall again. We are doing planks but he suggested us to use the same laminate throughout.
Lemon and I really wanted something more “woody”..
So this light laminate is the original one, and also the laminate that we are using throughout the house.. And I chose this for our kitchen planks! It looks nicer IRL and yupp this is it. Our planks for kitchen. But the cupboards etc will still all be the original laminate cos ID alr ordered them anyway.. lol
I think he is really nice to still entertain my requests at this time. But I guess I’m heng as well cos the carpentry hasn’t start last week! They started fabricating this week already~ if I were to request for it this week, he probably can’t do anth for me >< Our dry pantry! Cos the carcass is the light laminate (the one we using throughout the house), and the planks at the dry pantry is using e same laminate as the wet kitchen’s! Used a coin to check for hollow tiles and these are the ones that sounds the most hollow..
Wondering if we should ask ID to follow up on this.. or should we just let it be..... hmm 🤔
