11 weeks and we are ready to move!
Really cannot believe that the project is complete. And absolutely amazed by the transformation. There is something so deeply satisfying about gutting out an entire space and making it brand new.
I think the pictures will tell the story more, so here they are!

We hacked through a small room on the first floor to open up the living space, and hacked through the kitchen too, to make it a open kitchen. Windows were also pushed out so that we could have a ledge. We also had glass partitions made for the kitchen, so that I could separate the space when I cook.

The kitchen was entirely hacked through and interestingly we found a small window hidden behind some old cabinets! Mr See did such a great job as always with my kitchen carpentry. All drawers were fitted with Blum technology and his company is one of the best when it comes to working with Blum. We also worked to conceal certain items like pillars and odd angles. Kitchen, lights and bathroom fittings are all from Wasser. I'll compile a list of vendors and contacts later!

There is a second toilet along the staircase but we knocked through two toilets to make it one larger one. There is a second door in case there are guests and they want to use the bathroom on the second floor, but Mr See and Florence my ID worked hard to incorporate the door into the deco.

Here's how the toilet looks like now. Again, all fittings were from Vasser. Tiles were from Hafary.

We hacked through two rooms to make a master bedroom that now also has a small study and pantry. I loved how Florence gave us a beautiful headboard. The ledge behind the headboard will be a nice area for G&Ts.

The other side of the room is now the walk-in, beautifully done by Mr See. It leads to the bathroom.

The guest room.

And just for fun, a collage of pictures taken over the past 11 weeks showing the progress!
I still can't believe the process is almost over. Now to move in!
We did our first move yesterday and over the many years, I've relied on First Choice Movers.

And they're really my first choice movers. :)
I've managed to unpack about 16 boxes yesterday. Final move is on Monday!
Will share more details of my vendors and workers in another post. Work, a niece's wedding and more unpacking beckons. :)
